Very good, central location near the opera house, and I had quiet nights sleep, we were lucky that the other guests were quiet too. There were toothbrushes, bodylotion, shaving kit, and slippers for us. The room is clean, warm and very sunny on the 4th floor. The bed is super comfortable. In the reception area, free water, tea, coffee, and sweets are provided for guests. We didn't have breakfast there. We booked the hotel the day before we went to Madrid in a hurry, because an apartment we booked a long time ago suddenly informed us that they can't accommodate us for our holidays, they pretended to be another rental company that only contacted us by WhatsApp, even though we booked it through booking.com , that seems like a fraud because they refused to send messages through Booking.com, we contacted booking customer support, got good help from them, after many calls and email, they cancelled this terrible apartment and returned money to me. At the same time, they are promised to compensate us if we book a new accommodation that costs more than the previous apartment, which is true, because there were not many good apartments left at the last minute, and we were afraid of being cheated once again after a long flight to Madrid. We luckily found this hotel at the very last minute. So Booking.com is still a safe website to use.

The hotel was an excellent choice for our short stay in Madrid. It is very centrally located, next to the lively Plaza de España, within walking distance of most major sights of the city, and a two-minute walk to the Plaza de España metro station. Although the hotel is centrally located, the rooms were very quiet, as it is situated on a quiet side street. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with good air-conditioning, which is absolutely necessary in Madrid in July. Breakfast was excellent, with nice local cold cuts and cheeses. The staff was extremely helpful, responding kindly and cheerfully to all our needs, including booking a taxi for the airport. A really nice touch, which we greatly appreciated, was the cold-water fountain near the reception, which we could freely use filling our bottles, something that saved us a lot of money, in addition to being beneficial for the environment. Free coffee and pastries were always available at the hotel bar, something that made our stay there even more pleasant. In general, this hotel was really excellent value for money!!!!

The concierge at Cason del Tormes isvery friendly and helpful. We would often asked him for suggestions and he was always ready to help! The location is perfect, very close to most tourist attractions and near a metro station. The breakfast was good with a fair number of options. There is a coffee machine at the lobby that always comes in handy when you're carving some caffeine. Most days in the afternoon there are pastries up for grabs next to the machine! The lobby is pretty with different seating options. Also, since we went in November and it was quite chilly, the hotel and the room were always perfectly heated - not too hot nor too cold. The bathroom is very practical and it was nice to find that there was always hot water (no glitches) whenever we wanted to shower.

Central location, even though it's a little hidden. But really near to the Royal Palace and the main city area. All within walking distance. Before booking, I read some reviews saying the hotel is old. I was a bit doubtful but when I reached the hotel, it seems pretty new - maybe it's been renovated. Check-in was easy, the staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. Fast replies from the hotel when I messaged them to ask some questions prior to my check-in day.

The room is small, but there is a wardrobe, table, chair. The beds are comfortable. Clean, cleaned every day. The staff is always ready to help, very friendly. Near the reception there is a corner with drinking water, coffee, tea. It's free. Great location. Close to the metro, restaurants, shops, entertainment.
